PRINCETON DIVISION & TRAINING SHIP PRINCETON

Our units are sponsored by the Stanislaus Council of the Navy League of the United States.  We are hosted by the California Army National Guard, Turlock, and we usually train on the first & last Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and third Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.  Our primary focus is allowing cadets to learn skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork, while exploring possible career fields.  We also have numerous opportunities for additional local activities such as parades, color guards, serving at dinners, and other community projects.  In recent years we have developed a special relationship with Castle Air Museum, which allows our cadets special access to working on and around the aircraft.  Cadets also attend one or two week long trainings during the summer, which focus on various specialties including Search & Rescue, First Responder, EMT, Seamanship, Airman, and Master At Arms (military police).  We also usually go to regional activities in the late spring and early fall, including to a regional competition with other Sea Cadet units, and to San Francisco's Fleet Week, where we get special tours of ships and assist with the airshow.

If you are between 11 and 18, or know of boys or girls that are, and this looks interesting to you, please contact us to come see what we do for ourselves.
